ERIC SIN
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Eric has been in the financial services industry since 1989 and as he puts it, "has experienced cycles, bubbles, bulls and bears." With a BBA in international finance and marketing from the University of Miami, time spent at both Dean Witter at Morgan Stanley, and Series 31, Series 63, Series 65 and Series 7 licenses, he has seen and done a lot when it comes to advising people about their finances.
Although he calls himself "brutally honest," Eric's favorite thing about his career is working with people. He feels that listening is the most important aspect of what he does. Eric says, "I help folks going through life changing events, like the death of a loved one, divorce, the sale of a business, sale of a house or suddenly receiving an inheritance." He believes that everyone should be prepared for the unexpected. Eric says, "Most advisors are–or should be–as holistic as I am. I've had health challenges in my life (cancer and stroke) that I've overcome. Compassion for others and putting money and returns into perspective are things I bring to the table in addition to my financial training."
Eric is married with two teenage daughters, is a volunteer dog walker at a no-kill shelter, and is past Treasurer of the Chinese-American Professional Association. He is a world traveler, drummer in a band, and likes to cook in his spare time.
